ELIXIR White Brightening Moisture Lotion WT is a whitening lotion for daily facial skin care, by Shiseido. It is especially recommended for dull, blemished skin that is prone to sun spots, freckles and hyperpigmentation. Deeply penetrates skin to remove makeup, refresh, visibly smoothes, softens and comfortably moisturizes. Inhibits the production of melanin, lightens dark spots and prevents the appearance of new ones. Prepares the skin for more effective absorption of bleaching agents. It regenerates the skin, evens out its tone, makes it brighter, soft, smooth and radiant. The product contains a highly concentrated brightening ingredient 4MSK , which simultaneously improves skin texture and elasticity. 4MSK (4-Methoxy Potassium Salicylate), a mechanism developed by Shiseido in 2002, inhibits melanin synthesis by inhibiting the activity of the amino acid tyrosine, the most important enzyme in melanin production, which forms brown-black pigments.
